Hunger by Michael Grant

The point of view in which my story is told from is third person  point of view omniscient. It shows all of the characters emotions. It gets kind of overwhelming to keep up all of the characters emotions. My author is a reliable author because he gives all of the emotions in which the characters are feeling.

Unlike other books my book isn't told from first person point of view. It would be kind of weird because the character it would probably be told from is the character Sam. If it was in first person I wouldn't know how the other characters are feeling, which would be a huge twist in the story. What I'm basically saying is that the book wouldn't be the same. It would be kind of boring because you wouldn't know what the other characters were planning to do to him. Since the book runs in a series the book would be very slow. This is how my book would be different if it was told in a different point of view.

  1. I totally understand. Most of the books I've read are told in First-Person Narrator (especially in The Demonata series), and now I'm reading a book told by a Third-Person Omniscient Narrator, and it would be weird if it wasn't told that way...

  2. This book was one of the favorites from the last 8th grade. I'm happy you gave it a chance too. Nice insightful post!
